According to officials of Rescue 1122, 23-year-old Sajjad Khan was working on the 12th floor of an under-construction building near Shaheen Chowk in Bahria Town when he suddenly lost his balance and fell from the building.

Rescue officials stated that the labourer sustained critical head injuries and died on the spot. Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 teams immediately reached the site and shifted the body to a nearby hospital to complete medico-legal formalities.

Authorities are further investigating the incident, while concerns have once again been raised regarding workplace safety measures at construction sites.
