Bahria Town Islamabad : The Senior Vice Chief Executive Officer (SVCEO) of Bahria Town, Maj Gen Javed Iqbal (Retd), conducted a comprehensive visit to the mosques located across Bahria Town where he reviewed facilities and assessed the overall standard of maintenance.
During the visit, the SVCEO expressed high appreciation for the exemplary upkeep and cleanliness of the mosques, noting that many of these religious facilities are 20 to 22 years old yet continue to reflect a remarkable standard of preservation, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. He commended the dedicated efforts of the mosque management and maintenance teams for ensuring that the mosques remain welcoming, serene, and well-maintained for worshippers.

Maj Gen Javed Iqbal (Retd) highlighted that mosques hold a central spiritual and social importance in community life, and maintaining them to a high standard is a core responsibility of Bahria Town. He observed arrangements related to cleanliness, ablution areas, prayer halls, lighting, sound systems, and surrounding landscapes, expressing satisfaction with the consistent quality maintained across all visited locations.
The SVCEO also interacted with on-ground staff and emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance, and timely upgrades to preserve these mosques for future generations. He directed the concerned departments to further enhance comfort facilities for worshippers, especially during peak prayer times and special religious occasions.

The visit reaffirmed Bahria Town’s commitment to providing well-managed, dignified, and spiritually uplifting religious infrastructure, in line with its vision of developing self-sustained and thoughtfully planned communities.
