Residents of Bahria Town observed Eid-ul-Adha with great religious fervour and devotion, as large congregational prayers, community gatherings, and traditional animal sacrifices took place across the township in a peaceful and well-organised manner.

The day began with special Eid prayers held at various mosques within Bahria Town, drawing large crowds of worshippers dressed in traditional attire. Imams delivered sermons emphasising the spirit of sacrifice, obedience, and unity – the core values embodied by the festival, which commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in submission to Allah’s command.

The management of Bahria Town, in coordination with local law enforcement agencies, ensured strict security measures, traffic control, and cleanliness throughout the day. Walk-through gates, CCTV surveillance, and security personnel were deployed at key locations, allowing families to offer their prayers peacefully.

Dedicated prayer areas were arranged in different precincts, including Grand Jamia Mosque and the Central Park Mosque, where thousands of residents gathered. Special arrangements were made for women and children to participate in the religious activities.

Following the prayers, residents proceeded to perform Qurbani (sacrifice of animals), in accordance with Islamic rituals. The township had designated specific slaughter zones to ensure hygiene and the proper disposal of waste, aligning with both religious guidelines and environmental safety. Bahria Town’s sanitation teams were active throughout the day, promptly cleaning the areas and facilitating smooth execution of the sacrificial rites.

True to the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha, many residents and local welfare organizations distributed meat to the underprivileged, security guards, domestic workers, and laborers within and outside Bahria Town. Charitable drives and food distribution programs reflected the community’s commitment to inclusivity and compassion.

In a special message, Bahria Town administration extended Eid greetings to all residents and praised the community for demonstrating unity, discipline, and social responsibility during the celebrations. They also encouraged continued efforts toward helping the needy and maintaining cleanliness and harmony.

Eid-ul-Adha in Bahria Town was celebrated with a deep sense of spirituality, community, and tradition. The well-managed events and strong community participation turned the occasion into a meaningful and joyous celebration, highlighting the core Islamic values of faith, sacrifice, and compassion.
