Bahria Town Rawalpindi, Staff Reporter — In light of the escalating emergency triggered by recent acts of aggression by India, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has taken decisive measures to ensure swift and effective crisis response. A dedicated emergency control room has been established by the authority to coordinate efforts across civic agencies and support essential services in real time.
According to an official statement released by the RDA on Thursday, the control room is fully operational and will function around the clock to monitor developments, maintain direct communication with relevant government departments, and address public concerns as the situation unfolds.
“The safety and well-being of citizens is our top priority,” said an RDA spokesperson. “The control room will serve as a centralized hub for rapid decision-making, resource allocation, and field coordination during this critical period.”

This step by the RDA comes as part of a broader city-wide alert initiated by the Punjab government in coordination with national security agencies, in response to what officials are describing as a “grave provocation” along the Line of Control and other sensitive zones.
