India has already lost more than it had anticipated in the current conflict. What exactly has it lost?
1. Internal harmony – The divide between Hindu and Muslim communities in India has deepened. In many parts of the country, Hind-muslim riots have broken out. Many Sikh community leaders have openly supported Pakistan.
2. Military prestige – The much-touted Rafale jets have not lived up to the image projected. They are down. Israeli drones have also been jammed and pulled down. Israel technology would be now in full access of Pakistan for detailed examination.
3. Moral high ground – Actions targeting mosques, women, and children have severely undermined India’s ethical standing.
4. Strategic exposure – Its vulnerabilities in the face of Pakistan’s defense capabilities have been laid bare. Their capabilities are now fully exposed to Pakistan.
5. International credibility – Global sympathy and support have notably shifted, with many countries no longer backing India’s narrative. No country except Israel, appears to be on their side.
Mark Twain rightly said, "Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured." Let India reap the benefits of its anger.
In contrast, Pakistan has emerged stronger—without even initiating a military response.
1. National unity has been one of the most significant outcomes, with the country standing together resolutely.
2. The armed forces have demonstrated their preparedness and capability to defend the nation's sovereignty. Public trust in their image and capability has drastically enhanced, exactly like that in 1965.
3. Diplomatic support has grown, with several countries expressing solidarity with Pakistan. Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China and many others have openly supported Pakistan.
4. Public resilience has been remarkable—rather than panic, Pakistanis have responded with composure and even humor - creating memes of the situation, contrasting sharply with the anxiety seen across Indian media. They are in panic.
5. It is now evident that India will think twice before breaching Pakistan's borders again.
6. By not reacting mindlessly to Indian aggression, Pakistan has given a loud and clear message to the world that Pakistan is a responsible nation.
7. Above all, Pakistan retains the right to respond to the current episode of Indian aggression—on its own terms and at its chosen time. Pakistan can wait for an appropriate time to respond. No hurry. Patience is not a sign of weakness; rather, it is a message that Pakistan’s deterrence alone is enough to unsettle its adversaries.
Long live Pakistan.
